My clients describe me as:
a warm, empathic, curious, and active therapist. I strive to bring my authentic self to sessions, as a way of encouraging clients to do the same.
Something to know about my approach is:
I believe we learn to understand ourselves and the world around us through our experiences of relationships. Our relationship within therapy will then be a tool we will use to explore how you navigate the world, and beliefs/assumptions you may hold.
Together, we will:
identify areas of challenge or growth in your life, and explore the intersection between current difficulties and past experiences. Ultimately, the past is a tool for understanding your present and creating positive change in the present-day.
I specialize in working with people who:
are navigating life transitions, relationship difficulties, or exploring their identity. I work extensively with male clients, including both straight and queer men, as well as cis and trans-masc clients. I also work with couples, including poly/ENM
I became a therapist because:
I'm fascinated by how our experiences in life shape the people that we become, as well as the power that we have as humans to change our own stories.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
the flexibility provided by telehealth. My clients have access to therapy while traveling or on vacation, allowing for greater consistency in meeting.
More about me and my practice:
In addition to my work in private practice, I also work at the Kull Initiative for Psychotherapy, providing both clinical supervision and clinical training in couples + relationship therapy.
