My clients describe me as:
Someone who provides genuine, non-judgemental, and compassionate care. I focus on creating a safe and affirming space for you to begin to heal.
Something to know about my approach is:
I use my professional and clinical training and my lived experience to provide culturally attuned and highly specialized therapy. I understand the complexities of intersectional identities and how this can impact a person's experience in the world.
Together, we will:
Finding the right therapist is a critical step toward improving your emotional well-being. Together, we can work towards you making a meaningful change in your life. Wether you battling anxiety, depression, or trauma you don't have to do it alone.
I specialize in working with people who:
People may assume you have it all together, but your anxiety, depression, or trauma overwhelms your thoughts and emotions. You want to feel as confident and in control (on the inside) as other people think you are on the outside.
I became a therapist because:
I was interested in understanding how family and social dynamics impact people and wanted to help people overcome challenges to their mental health.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I started a virtual practice before the pandemic because I wanted to be more accessible for people who have traditionally not had access to therapy.
More about me and my practice:
I love the work that I do and value the opportunity to work with people and support them. Besides my clinical experience, I utilize directness, sometimes assign homework, and add humor, to help people reach their goals.
