I have flexible times Monday through Friday, 10-6
My clients describe me as:
I listen deeply, inviting you to share all your thoughts and feelings, and offer you tools to navigate daily life with peace.
Something to know about my approach is:
I will work with you to find practical solutions to issues you face, and also help you discover the emotional baggage holding you back.
Together, we will:
We will work together to explore alternatives to food, explore what emotions you are using the food to avoid, and find healthier alternatives to handling those emotions. We will also identify small, manageable changes to help you regain health.
I specialize in working with people who:
If you struggle with overeating, bingeing, or simply eating in a healthy way, there is hope.
I became a therapist because:
I have over 30 years of experience helping people recovering from over-eating, and believe that nobody should have to live with pain and shame.
More about me and my practice:
I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi, where I wrote my dissertation, "The hole in the soul," about the early childhood memories of binge eaters.
