I am available weekdays (M-F) from 8:30 am - 5 :00 PM
My clients describe me as:
Warm, empathetic, caring, creative, easy to talk to, and authentic
Something to know about my approach is:
Creating change is an active choice that is empowering and takes courage to implement. We need help when life is complex. I can extend empathy as my goal is to walk alongside you and provide tools knowing that you are the expert of your own life.
Together, we will:
Identify sources of pain and expand understanding of self in order to overcome limitations. We will recognize patterns and collaboratively create goals that lead to confidence and a more abundant and fulfilling life.
I specialize in working with people who:
addiction counseling, grief work, mens issues, couples counseling, trauma counseling, veteran-specific counseling, and working with adolescents on behavioral issues in their family system.
I became a therapist because:
In my own therapy, I saw the change that it created in myself. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and process to implement change.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am available both in-person and via tele-health in NC. My physical office is inviting with plenty of space for individuals, couples, or families.
More about me and my practice:
I am a U.S. Army veteran previously deployed to Iraq. Upon returning, I saw firsthand how important it was to receive needed support. My practice includes allowing space to process the tough times for further growth in order to be well and thrive.
