Something to know about my approach is:
I provide neurodivergent-friendly, trauma-informed compassionate care. I utilize a blend of approaches including humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and systemic. I tailor techniques to client need, and believe clients are the experts in their lives.
Together, we will:
define your strengths, identify barriers, and locate strategies for increasing support and success. We will work together on prioritizing your needs, setting boundaries, and find routines and rhythms to increase the quality of daily life.
I specialize in working with people who:
have experienced trauma, are seeking to understand a diagnosis, need support in setting boundaries, and/or need parent coaching or support for their child.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted a career that held meaning. Throughout graduate school, I processed much about my childhood and life that I found life-changing.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
that I am a native of the area, and I have served many children and families through my work in schools.
More about me and my practice:
I lend 15 years of experience in the education field, 12 years as a school counselor. I am passionate about school being accessible for all. I feel all humans (children and adults) deserve to feel seen and understood.
