I treat anxiety, OCD, and perfectionism with evidenced-based approaches such as ERP, ACT, and DBT. All three of these approaches focus in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, responses, and help teach healthier ways to cope in line with your goals

Together, we will:

Explore your patterns surrounding anxiety and perfectionism and work to create patterns more in line with your values and goals. We will also work together to learn coping skills to help manage anxiety and/or OCD.

I specialize in working with people who:

Experience anxiety and perfectionism through intrusive thoughts and/or repetitive behaviors, such as rumination, repeated checking, avoidance, and over controlling. We will work together to limit these behaviors and learn alternative coping skills.

I know and recognize the pain fear, anxiety, and perfectionism can bring, and enjoy empowering others to cope more effectively.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

My office is centrally located 10 minutes from downtown Charlotte. I also offer virtual sessions should you prefer to meet from the comfort of home.

I understand that choosing a therapist can be difficult, and I offer a free 20 minute consultation call prior to scheduling. I also accept HSA/FSA benefits, and can provide paperwork for you to file out of network with your insurance provider.
