Real? I'll have to ask them. A lot of my clients have ADHD, BPD, or overthinking. I bring a lot of humor, practicality, and validation to the table.

Something to know about my approach is:

It's unlikely you'll cry much. I do behaviorally based therapy so it's all about getting down to business. I joke that I'm the mean therapist but that just means I see all!

Figure out what is actually going on, it's not always what people think. Then we create a plan together and get to work.

Have been struggling for a while, even if it's low level and persistent. Often my clients feel out of sync but don't know why.

I became a therapist because:

I enjoyed mentoring junior marines when I was in the military and I liked seeing them develop a plan and create hope.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I don't assume you know how to do something (no matter how 'simple'). I can typically keep up with anyone. I also have ADHD, there's no hiding it.
