About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Many people describe me as a good listener and a calming presence. I have been told that people leave interactions with me feeling heard and seen.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

My role in therapy is to guide, support and cheer clients on! We will collaborate on how to better manage difficult emotions, thoughts and experiences. I want to encourage my clients towards independence so they have ownership of their healing.

  • Together, we will:

Together we will discuss past, present and future experiences that may be causing distress. We will learn to better manage difficult emotions and thoughts, as well as learn new skills to better solve daily problems.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

My specialties include working with children as young as 3 years old, using play based skills. I also work with individuals who have experienced trauma and am able to provide EMDR as a treatment.

  • I became a therapist because:

I became a therapist, because I love becoming a small part in someone's story. I want to grieve and celebrate with others as they go through life.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

We have specialized offices for adults, adolescents and children. We have an expressive arts room and a play room for younger clients.

  • More about me and my practice:

I believe it is important to allow client's to integrate their spirituality with their mental health treatment. Not all clients wish to do this, and that is fine, but for those that do I will work from a spiritual lens.
