I typically meet with people M-F 9-5:30 and sometimes Saturday late morning. I'm flexible.
My clients describe me as:
Genuine, empathetic, has expertise in specific areas while bringing personality/sense of humor to help establish strong therapeutic relationship.
Something to know about my approach is:
My approach is as eclectic as my individual people. I always use the latest in neuroscience to inform interventions. I find somatics, IFS, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness elements are nearly always helpful to incorporate into any therapeutic modality.
Together, we will:
Explore how complex trauma is a rupture in early attachment patterns and identify how that continues to influence current relationships. Utilize somatics and incorporate the latest in neuroscience to help facilitate neuroplasticity.
I specialize in working with people who:
Have experienced trauma, especially developmental/complex trauma. People who struggle maintaining healthy attachments, experience anxiety and/or mood disorders. Those who want to find meaning/purpose in life and improve self-esteem/image/worth.
I became a therapist because:
I obtained two post-graduate certifications. I am a Certified Neuropsychotherapist, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP)
