About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Patient, nonjudgmental, laid-back, encouraging, accepting, safe. I love nerding about the "why/how" in mental health. And I'm funny when I need to be!

  • Something to know about my approach is:

I love mindfulness practices and EMDR. I will ask you to spend time outside of session thinking about what happened in therapy. I'm queer and anti-racist. I believe in harm reduction and reducing stigma of mental health/substance use.

  • Together, we will:

Crush imposter syndrome and perfectionism, practice being kind to you, gain new insight, laugh, learn new tools for dealing with stress, heal from trauma, break unhealthy family patterns, and give yourself space to be the best version of you.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

Are at least 14 or older, and struggle with trauma, substance use, and anxiety-related disorders. I love supporting LGBTQIA+ folx in their identity journey. I also enjoy helping people of all backgrounds who work in IT/computer programming jobs!

  • I became a therapist because:

I had my own experiences with anxiety. I feel called to help others. I believe EVERY person has inherent dignity, worth, and capacity for change.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I'm offering virtual therapy only at this time to residents of North Carolina, using a secure platform. I can see anyone across the state!

  • More about me and my practice:

My clients tend to resonate with "not being _____ enough." Reach out if you've had enough of that!
