A deeply caring therapist who is easy to talk to and very validating about their current experiences. An understanding therapist who is well versed.
Something to know about my approach is:
I take a you-centered approach where I get to know who I am working with then assist in problem-solving through the varying issues that have come up. I am trained in Branspotting and EMDR and regularly utilize both practices in processing life.
Together, we will:
Process through your experiences on your perinatal journey. From adjustment to your new life, coping with fertility impairment, or working through mood disorders like anxiety, depression, or trauma. Offering individual and couples counseling.
I specialize in working with people who:
are on their perinatal journey. I help women process emotions and thoughts that come up during the fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood portions of their lives.
I became a therapist because:
I love hearing people's stories. I believe in the power of our origin stories and heal the disturbances they experience to help strengthen their lives
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
There is so much taboo in becoming and being a parent. As well as so much that we don't talk about, I create space for people to tell those stories.
More about me and my practice:
No person should have to suffer in silence when it comes to the natural changes that occur while on the perinatal journey. I enjoy helping others work through those tough moments while also breaking the myths around parenthood and the postpartum time
