Daytime, evenings, and weekends
My clients describe me as:
warm and accepting, able to authentically validate their experiences, while also offering gentle insight to open up other possibilities.
Something to know about my approach is:
I understand the brain fog that comes along with anxiety, grief, loss, and trauma. I help you sort through complex emotions and stuck points, helping you connect to your inner wisdom that has been there all along.
Together, we will:
utilize tools from mindfulness and CBT to help you heal and thrive. On the whole I consider my approach to be eclectic, I'll follow your needs and preferences, to take just the right approach for you.
I specialize in working with people who:
strive to show up for theirselves with compassion while also seeking out tangible solutions to thinking and behavior patterns that are no longer serving them.
I became a therapist because:
I believe healing happens through human connection. The therapeutic relationship paired with specialized knowledge can create a pathway to thriving.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
it's full of natural light from 3 wide windows & feels like we're sitting in a treetop - the perfect perch for people watching on Madison Road.
More about me and my practice:
I've spent many years working in non-profits, primarily working with survivors of complex trauma. As such, I work from a trauma informed lens, which examines how one's experiences shape their beliefs and behaviors.
