My clients describe me as kind, caring, a good listener, easy to talk to, and full of good advice on how to look at things from a fresh perspective.
Something to know about my approach is:
I try to meet people where they are at and look at the issues that are creating the most distress for them, at this time. I allow my clients to direct their own treatment and help them explore how they can find alternatives or solutions to improve.
Together, we will:
Discuss pretty much anything that is creating distress/discomfort for you. If there is something I'm unable to help with, I will work to find a referral to address those issues, but, for the most part, there is nothing that I'm not willing to discuss
I specialize in working with people who:
Are struggling with drug and alcohol addictions, depression, anxiety, gambling addictions, pornography, and adjustment to changes in their lives.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to help people to overcome the obstacles in their lives and live healthier, happier lives.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I try to make my office a safe, comfortable environment, without judgement, and are you are free to talk about anything that you are struggling with.
More about me and my practice:
I have been working in the field for over thirty years, helping individuals from a variety of backgrounds with substance use and mental health issues.
