Currently accepting new patients with open availability - late afternoon and early evening times.
My clients describe me as:
Silly, authentic, warm, genuine
Something to know about my approach is:
I adapt based on how things "play out;" there is no "one size fits all" approach I take. At times I will be that sounding board you want, while other times I might "stir the pot" to really stimulate thinking.
Together, we will:
help you get more aligned with your values, goals, and passionate pursuits. When people are not feeling or doing well, it's typical to become less aligned with those aspects. Therapy aims to get people more aligned as to feel and do better.
I specialize in working with people who:
struggle with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia, trauma, and substance use - basically, I work with folks who are living a life not aligned with their values, goals, and passionate pursuits. I also specialize in psychological testing!
I became a therapist because:
as someone who was diagnosed with ADHD and survived a traumatic car accident when I was younger, I wanted to show people that anything is possible.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
My practice is 100% remote, so all sessions, paperwork, payments, etc., are done online! I offer evening appointments as well.
More about me and my practice:
I own and operate my group private practice. I'm also an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, and a Psychologist with the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX.
