My approach is individualized for every couple. I pull from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy, among other approaches. I see the relationship as the client, so I work to support your goals.

Have fun, address tough subjects in a safe manner, continually adjust the approach based on what is working, focus on your strengths as well as your challenges, improve communication, understand each other better, and maintain a positive attitude.

I specialize in working with people who:

... want to get better. This can be being proactive or trying to help with a marriage on the brink of divorce or a client with severe depression. The biggest variable to your success in counseling is the amount of work you put into it.

I became a therapist because:

I have always loved helping people (I'm sure everyone says that). I have always been a person people in need came to.
