My clients describe me as:
A knowledgeable and empathic therapist who really knows her stuff. Applying compassionate strategy to elicit a sincere and vulnerable experience.
Something to know about my approach is:
It takes a therapist who deeply understands codependency, covert abuse, toxic traits, and skillful coping to be able to help clients overcome the complexities of covert abuse.
Together, we will:
work towards your desired goals for treatment. Utilizing empirical applications and modalities, each client receives a specialized treatment plan outlining exactly what they can expect on their therapy journey
I specialize in working with people who:
I work with survivors of, oftentimes, complex, nuanced, or covert abuse and trauma cases. Some, if not most, of my clients are typically presenting with an additional co-morbid disorder, in addition to their trauma; such as AN, BN, OCD, or MDD.
I became a therapist because:
I felt very misunderstood as a kid, even sometimes still. And I always wished for empathy and sincere interest in my feelings and perspectives.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Our cincinnati offices are adorned with modern furnishings and tons of natural light. Virtual receptionist, and hot/cold beverages in waiting room.
More about me and my practice:
I started my own private practice in 2018, after years of working in higher levels of care treating teens and adults with severe eating disorders. I have a 5 office buildout in Cincinnati, where my team continues to see clients in-person.
