My goal as a therapist is not to tell you how to live your life, but to assist and support you as you live your life.. I utilize a variety of theories and will assign homework to ensure the skills you learn in session are used in everyday life.

Together, we can address different areas of concern in your life including overall mental health, relationships, academics, self-esteem, and satisfaction with career. I can provide referrals if your concerns are outside of my scope of practice.

I specialize in working with people who:

I enjoy working with older teenagers and college students who are open to therapy and willing to explore ways they can improve their lives. Generally, those within this age group are struggling with anxiety and depression and I am here to help.

I became a therapist because:

I firmly believe mental health care should be available to anyone who is willing to put in the work. I want to provide hope and healing to others.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I have a calico cat named Callie and a husky named Jackson who may make surprise appearances (before being escorted out of session.)

More about me and my practice:

I chose the name Sunflower Therapy Services because I believe sunflowers are a sign of hope, peace, and happiness. These are traits I hope to enhance within my client's lives as well.
