I use humor when appropriate and don't assign random "homework" just because in therapy - I do however recommend activities, books, and podcasts for use in between sessions when appropriate and specific to a client's goals.

I am a client-centered therapist but I do not sit in silence - I am active and will "be with you" in whatever you bring to therapy. I won't share much about myself, but I promise to be human with you. We will work toward what is most important to you

I love the process of watching someon become more of themselves. I became a Psych NP because I wanted to provide holistic mental healthcare.

Teletherapy sessions are easily accessible given the time restraints of work, childcare, and traffic. I practice integrative psychiatric which means I treat using conventional medications, supplements, psychotherapy, and lifestyle changes.
