I cater the approach and therapeutic style I use to the particular client that I am seeing. I have specializations I use with my clients (CBT, DBT, client-centered), but can pivot if we notice something isn't working. We will work to combat and challenge and/or reframe negative thoughts along with digging deeper and processing core beliefs in session.

My goal in session is to offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where we can explore life’s challenges and how to foster positive growth. I want to meet you where you are at wherever that may be. I want to work to strengthen your resilience and develop stronger skills and insight to allow you to better manage your struggles.

I've had clients describe me as kind, knowledgeable, empathic, understanding, warm, and genuine. I always make sure to mention during session that if I am ever off the mark on an interpretation or if we did not cover a certain topic as in depth as you would like, I more than appreciate feedback and will cover whatever it is in the next session.

I work best with clients who have struggles with depression, anxiety, PTSD/ trauma responses, challenges with spirituality and religious trauma, grief, and psychosis symptoms. I am greatly proficient in helping with those who have social anxiety. I also work well with conflicts in relationships both peer relationships and romantic relationships.

There was a period in my life where I especially could really have benefited from seeing a therapist and I was unable to have one due to family. I want to be that person for someone else that I would have liked to have had when I was younger. Lastly, for the simple reason of wishing to be there for others and share their pain for what they are dealing with.

I wish for therapy to be as affordable as possible for my client. I do not mind in the slightest if someone wishes to use an insurance I am credentialed with or if a sliding fee scale is needed. Please ask if you have any questions on this and I will be understanding.
