I approach situations with a warm, non-judgmental, collaborative, trauma informed approach. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique needs.

Together, we will:

work to identify challenging aspects and work towards problem solving, maintenance, or acceptance. We will also explore the positive accomplishments one has achieved and work towards savoring these moments as well.

I specialize in working with people who:

may be experiencing anxiety, feeling overwhelmed with life tasks, depression symptoms, fear and worry regarding work and family relationships/concerns, racial trauma/discrimination, and lacking motivation to keep moving forward.

I became a therapist because:

I wanted to help individuals work through challenging times within their life. I wanted to provide a cultural safe space that may be lacking.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

the cultural lens, down to earth, evidenced based therapeutic approach. I utilize an active listening approach that allows the client to feel heard.

Seeing through one's clouded judgment during challenging times can be difficult. When faced with many challenges, one may be unable to see the positives and strengths. We strive to provide support so clients do not feel alone during this process.
