Something to know about my approach is:

I believe that the things that have happened to us impact our relationships with ourselves and others, and the ways that we perceive the world. I also believe that the most important thing when healing trauma is authentic connection with safe people.

Together, we will:

build a relationship where you feel safe enough to begin to explore what happened in your life, develop compassion for the ways that you have survived, and identify what you need in order to move toward the life that you want for yourself.

I specialize in working with people who:

have experienced trauma by the hands of another person, including sexual assault or abuse, physical abuse or neglect, emotional abuse or neglect, and verbal abuse. I am especially helpful to people who have experienced many incidents of trauma.

I became a therapist because:

I am a survivor of trauma myself. I know what it is like to heal with the help of therapy. I want others to know they're not alone and it gets better.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I am currently offering virtual therapy sessions through a HIPAA secure platform.

Therapy is my passion, and I can get super nerdy with you about neuroscience if you're interested! In my free time, you can find me out in nature with my dog if the weather is nice, or reading a good book under a blanket on those rainy Portland days.
