Currently I have availability Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
My clients describe me as:
I am relatable, flexible, curious, and direct as needed. My politics are radical and my practice is grounded in queer theory and liberation justice.
Something to know about my approach is:
Our work will start by just understanding your story. In the way we relate to ourselves we can build new ways of navigating our lives.
Together, we will:
Build goals, reauthor your story, get grounded and stabilize. We will discuss not just you but how the culture around you impacts your mental health.
I specialize in working with people who:
I work with folks to strengthen self and identity when the culture around us is unwelcoming or even hostile. Of course you’re depressed if you are dealing with anti-queerness, anti-trans, or racism! Let’s unburden you from carrying that.
I became a therapist because:
I’ve witnessed harm to friends, family, and myself in therapy. I wanted to offer a safe space for queer, trans and BIPOC people.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I currently only offer telehealth video appointments to anyone in the state of Oregon. I am in Portland.
More about me and my practice:
I’ve lived in Portland for 25 years and love being a part of this community. I have a background in fine arts and enjoy painting in my free time. I'm an avid hiker but think of myself as more the indoorsy type.
