Please note: If you have Kaiser, I require a Beacon/Carelon Authorization Number to use insurance.
My clients describe me as:
When working with me, clients can expect to feel heard, safe, and comfortable. Clients can also expect to be treated with respect and empathy.
Something to know about my approach is:
I'm an LGBTQIA-affirming therapist, fluent in ASL, with an eclectic, holistic therapeutic perspective. I consider each client to be an expert in their life. No one knows you better than yourself. Sometimes, we all just need a little guidance.
Together, we will:
Together, we will explore behaviors and coping skills that just haven't gotten you where you want to be so we can unlearn them to make space for skills and behaviors that do get you there.
I specialize in working with people who:
I specialize in working with people who for some reason just cannot figure out why their anxiety won't leave them alone. Or, why do they feel like they can't get out of bed for days? Or maybe they have coping skills that just don't get it done.
I became a therapist because:
I became a therapist because my high school counselor saved my life. She inspired me to want to help people feel safe, heard, and healed.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Although I see all of my clients online at this time, something that will stand out is that I am very human. Also, your goals are my goals.
More about me and my practice:
I truly appreciate being able to make my clients the top priority without compromising my own mental health. We are all human beings trying to find the best way for each of us to live in the healthiest way for each of us. We're not one size fits all.
