Provides therapy in Oregon
OFFERS REMOTE THERAPY
ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
My clients describe me as:
nonjudgmental, supportive, caring, and funny!
Something to know about my approach is:
Hakomi is a form of sensorimotor psychotherapy consisting of guided self-study that uses mindfulness to access traumatic memories and harmful beliefs encoded in the body - those places in your body where you feel restless, uncomfortable, or ill.
Together, we will:
experience stretches of silent reflection, scary moments of grief and sadness, and times of laughter and surprise. We will do guided mindfulness exercises to get us into the present moment, and “little experiments” to learn about your inner world.
I specialize in working with people who:
have been in therapy before and it hasn’t taken you very far, somatic therapy can help. The Hakomi Method is about learning how to listen to yourself, and unearth instead of bury the pain of the past. I love working with helpers experiencing burnout.
I became a therapist because:
I am passionate about partnering with people on their journey towards wellness, as I have been helped by others.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am doing only remote therapy at this time until the COVID-19 crisis is over.
More about me and my practice:
I offer individual and couples counseling for adults age 18+. I welcome folks of all genders, sexual orientations, cultures, races, faiths, and abilities who are ready to do the work. LGBTQI+ and poly-friendly.
