I work in private practice Mondays-Wednesday. Private pay except for individuals with OHP.
My clients describe me as:
a caring and collaborative counselor who provides a warm and welcoming space that is safe enough to take risks that promote healing and growth.
Something to know about my approach is:
I am collaborative and trauma-informed. With informed consent, I use EMDR, CBT, IFS, and emotion-focused modalities to relieve distress and build skills in individuals, couples and families to strengthen relational bonds.
Together, we will:
Help you gain insight and heal emotional distress through the use of EMDR, mindfulness CBT, IFS, and skill-building so that you can feel more connected to your life and the people in it.
I specialize in working with people who:
are trans or gay and want to reconnect with their cis/hetero family members. I have lived experience in this area and bring that to my practice. I also work with couples from all walks of life to strengthen communication and rekindle intimacy.
I became a therapist because:
I felt called to support people in achieving love, meaning, and connection in their lives, especially if they have experienced childhood trauma.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer telehealth appointments, allowing family members in different locations to access therapy together. I also see people in-person.
More about me and my practice:
I am a dedicated therapist interested in ongoing professional development to serve my clients. I continue to train and learn new treatment modalities relevant to your needs because your growth is important to me. I look forward to working with you!
