About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Clients often express relief when they learn that I too have survived relational trauma, the death of loved ones, and big life transitions.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

I use a melding of approaches that is based in client-centered, attachment, polyvagal, and IFS theories. I believe you know yourself best and that the mind and body and intricately connected meaning we need to work with both. I provide HOPE.

  • Together, we will:

We will create the safety you need to get to know yourself better such that you can manage whatever life throws at you. My hope is you will learn just how amazing you are as we break through any patterns of protection that no longer serve you.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

have survived relational trauma and have developed protective coping strategies that interfere with true connection. I love to provide space for clients grieving and integrating the death of a loved one. I enjoy clients who want to be more authentic.

  • I became a therapist because:

living in a society that is grief adverse is really challenging. Life is hard, relationships are hard, and people die. I love to create space to grow.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I provide teletherapy so I can see anyone in the state of Oregon. I usually work from my home office which is in the basement of my home in Portland.

  • More about me and my practice:

I did my grief training at The Dougy Center. I am also a licensed physical therapist assistant and a certified SoulCollage® facilitator. I love teaching clients about the mind-body connection and utilizing creative arts in therapy.
