My primary orientation to treatment, Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, places a premium on a supportive and collaborative relationship. I am actively engaged in the therapeutic process, while helping you to tap into your innate capacity for growth.

We will work together to identify internal barriers and to change long standing patterns that are preventing you from reaching your goals. We will focus on the present, while seeking out transformational processes- rather than simply rehashing old wounds.

I am intensively trained in DBT and worked for several years on a DBT team in an intensive outpatient program. However, I do not offer a full DBT program- my private practice is best described as “DBT informed.” While I do not accept insurance, I can provide you with paperwork to submit to your insurance company for any out of network benefits you may have.
