About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Sensitive, honest and kind. I often use stories to get my point across and I do get feedback from clients about their feelings about our approach.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

I am well read and eclectic in my approach. My 30 years in the field as well as my life experience raising four children has taught me some strong lessons. I learned from many clients and my own life that being authentic is ground zero for living.

  • Together, we will:

We will practicing mindfulness, and practice being still and ask yourself questions such as. What do you love? Who do you want to be? What would you change about yourself? And come to like who you are.Issues such as loneliness and isolation hurt

  • I specialize in working with people who:

Specialize in goal setting. Learning to identify feelings and find source of those feelings. Existential goals - How do you want to look back on your life?

  • I became a therapist because:

My uncle was 17 when I was 14 when he commuted Suicide. It was denied in the family as it destroyed my grandparents. I wanted to help people find hope

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

It is my home. I want what we talk about to be naturally transferred to the client’s living situation as easily as possible.

  • More about me and my practice:

I tend to be upfront about about my boundaries, rules of confidentiality and when I will break them. I use humor when appropriate and seek out client’s expectations at beginning.
