Emotions you struggle with in beginning therapy are accepted in this space. We will discuss autonomy and boundaries and provide a safe space for you to heal. Both acceptance of the past and effort to move toward the future will bring healing.

Learn about one another, identify what to focus on, and collaboratively choose approaches that utilize your strengths, complement your disposition, and treat what brought you to therapy. Through this process I hope we can transmute pain into peace.

We share space as equals, and I’m very friendly. But boundaries are important–this is your therapy, not chats with a friend. I’ll likely laugh at your jokes, but I’m also going to need us to stop so we can find what they are conveying or hiding.
