We will focus on understanding the complex (sometimes invisible) interplay between your thoughts, feelings, how you relate to others, your identities, and the cultures you live in, and how all of these affect your life, your choices, and your actions.

Many are people in multicultural families or relationships, immigrants or their adult children, people of Asian descent, clinicians, or people who still feel like something important is missing, even after achieving conventional hallmarks of success.

I wanted to help help others transform the heartbreaks and traumas that we experience and inherit into something new and vibrant.

My parents are refugees from the Cambodian genocide and I am the first of my extended family to be born in the US. I value compassion, humanity, and humor. In addition to clinical work, I spend my time working with others to advocate for democracy at all scales, working class interests, and climate justice.
