I’m an art therapist who helps adults use creativity to explore emotions, cope with challenges, and build insight. No art experience needed- just an open mind. Sessions are tailored to your goals and strengths, creating a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported.

Together we will work through what feels stuck, experiment with creative approaches, and strengthen strategies for coping and growth. Art can serve as both resistance and repair, helping you process emotions and feel more empowered in your daily life.

I specialize in working with adults who feel stuck, stressed, or overwhelmed- whether from professional burnout, life transitions, anxiety, or navigating the world as a neurodivergent person. Many are seeking relief from the uncertainty of the world, or the demands of modern caretaking and careers. Art therapy is a supportive, creative way to process it all.

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a space to be seen, heard, and supported. Having found healing through art myself, I am passionate about helping others use the inherent creativity we all have to navigate life’s challenges and unlock resilience.

I am dual licensed as a counselor and art therapist. I am also a researcher specializing in mental health, creativity, and the role of art in well-being. My practice, Maud and Moon, is located in an arts complex in east Austin with galleries and a coffee shop. Clients describe the vibe as laid back, welcoming, and inspiring.
