My clients describe me as:
Kind, deeply caring, honest, direct, fun, empathetic, patient, intelligent, easy to talk to, respectful, knowledgable and resourceful
Something to know about my approach is:
I am collaborative, active, and nonjudgmental. My approach is based on your wants, goals and needs and will be tailored specifically for you. I prefer to be engaging rather than the traditional “blank slate” and do assign “homework” as appropriate.
Together, we will:
practice mindfulness and create balance. We will work together to find tools that feel right for you to manage and eventually overcome your struggles. We will laugh, cry, explore and connect all to help you be the person you want to be.
I specialize in working with people who:
are 1st/2nd generation immigrants. Being 1st gen myself, I understand the struggles of trying to balance cultures, traditions and values while navigating and maintaining your own identity.
I became a therapist because:
I love seeing the change that can happen when people have the support they need and I'm always honored to be a part of that journey.
More about me and my practice:
I specialize in anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, parenting and life transitions. If I'm not the right fit for you, I will try to help you find someone who is.
