Weekdays, morning and early afternoon. I am unable to offer evening or weekend availability.
My clients describe me as:
Approaches therapy with the understanding it is the therapeutic relationship that matters most, while also providing useful information and support.
Something to know about my approach is:
I practice from lived experience with the recognition of how most therapy modalities were not normed on the clients I work with. For the past 10+ years I have studied and practiced modifying therapy to appropriately fit Neurodivergent needs.
Together, we will:
We will collaborate on your current needs and how to best support these, both in therapy and in life. I support folks in identity exploration (gender, neurotypes and more) as well as practice trauma-sensitive, Neurodiversity Affirming therapy.
I specialize in working with people who:
I have experience working with many neurotypes, however the most experience is in supporting other Autistic ADHDers who live with anxiety/OCD and trauma (especially complex trauma). I am a PDAer, so I also work well with other PDA adults.
I became a therapist because:
I have always been the default therapist in any social group. So, with an intense interest in psychology and neurology, I studied to be a therapist.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I have studied disability justice, anti-racism/racial justice, intersectional feminism, neurodiversity paradigm, queer theory and more.
More about me and my practice:
I recognize we can experience distress without anything being wrong with us as individuals. I support clients in working through realistic ways to effect necessary change within systems that do not meet our needs.
