My clients describe me as:
Authentic and compassionate. I am highly relational. I will be honest with you and challenge you, but in a way that partners us together.
Something to know about my approach is:
I end up using EMDR more often than not with my clients. I have found that there is almost always underlying trauma in our unhealthy behaviors, so if we can resolve the trauma, the behaviors are much easier to combat.
Together, we will:
Connect to and understand your emotions in order to resolve underlying issues. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is an essential part to healing, and want to help you connect back to your best self.
I specialize in working with people who:
Struggle in their relationship with food and body. I also work with family members of individuals struggling with substance abuse. My other specialties include infertility issues, chronic pain, and anxiety.
I became a therapist because:
Therapy has been a huge part of my own life through my personal experience with consecutive losses, eating disorder, and chronic pain.
More about me and my practice:
We are known for working with people who have been turned down by other practices. We also commonly work with families. We each work with a family member and collaborate to fight for healing in the family system.
