My clients describe me as:
My clients describe me as someone who brings hope. I create safety with a warm, friendly energy and build trust with a professional demeanor.
Something to know about my approach is:
I will work to effectively reframe your situation, act as an objective sounding board, and celebrate your uniqueness as we uncover your true self. My goal is to reintroduce peace and alleviate symptoms that have been keeping you from your ideal life
Together, we will:
Together we will establish trust and collaboratively create a treatment plan based on evidence-based approaches. Some of these may include Mindfulness-Based CBT, CPT, Somatic Psychotherapy, and Attachment and Family Systems Therapy.
I specialize in working with people who:
I excel in working with clients who have experienced trauma from childhood abuse, controlling relationships, religious hurt, assault, and homeschool abuse and neglect. I also work with couples to navigate communication issues and trauma triggers.
I became a therapist because:
I have an unwavering awe and respect for human nature’s resiliency and ability to thrive after hardship and I want to be a safe haven for survivors
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer BOTH in person (at a very homey and warm office) and remote therapy so you can receive care in the format that helps you feel the most safe.
More about me and my practice:
I am a very holistic therapist who cares deeply not just about your mental health diagnosis, but also your lifestyle, interests, and values. I will try to incorporate and honor those in our therapeutic work together as much as I can.
