ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
Three words that describe my style are:
Genuinely interested in learning about my clients understanding their experiences.
Competent regarding what we are doing and why.
Something unique about my approach is:
that I am very collaborative, compassionate, active and directive - giving you the help you need to make your life and relationships as good as they can be. We build upon strengths and resources and building and reconstructing from where you are.
Together we will explore:
What is not working for you and what your life would look like with some repair and deep understanding. I believe relationships are the key - your relationship with your self, your friends and family (here-and-now as well as there- and-then).
I specialize in working with people who:
Struggle with relationships, who can't quite find or hold on to that sense of self that is happy-enough or fulfilled-enough, or thriving. I also work with individuals struggling with the complexities of chronic pain and chronic illness.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to help people navigate life's more difficult and complicated challenges, that cannot be solved without help.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Beautiful brick building on a quiet tree-lined street close to Rice University and the Medical Center
When I’m not at work, I like to:
Spend time with family and friends, hike, play with my dog, take pictures and make things.
