I generally work 9 - 7 during the week and take Thursdays off at times. I can do FaceTime sessions on one day of the weekend. I can usually give you an appointment within one week.
Three words that describe my style are:
Supportive, engaging, and results-oriented. These combine to keep focus on you, the client, in a way that seems to work well to help.
Something unique about my approach is:
I believe that we're born for connection, and will spend time trying to understand you, your important relationships, and relationship goals. Expect also to focus on your emotions and how they feel in your body. We might also do art therapy at times.
Together we will explore:
What has brought you into therapy, relevant history, and what you've tried. We'll discuss what has/hasn't worked and why, and collaborate on your goals. Expect me to listen deeply and offer practical help to move you in the right direction quickly.
I specialize in working with people who:
are generally successful in life and seeking greater satisfaction, or have hit a rough patch. I will make each session count, using a results-oriented approach that maximizes our time together. Clients tell me they find my therapy style motivating.
I became a therapist because:
I've alway been interested in people, their choices, and the types of life they create.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
It's very easy in and easy out. No parking garages and long walks! I have a private conference room to do art therapy in a comfortable environment.
When I’m not at work, I like to:
Hang with family and friends, cook, enjoy live music, and be around art.
More about me:
Have lived and worked overseas, and have a cross-cultural perspective on life and relationships. Counseling is my 2nd career, after 15 years in HR.
