I have afternoon and evening availability as late as 6 pm during the week.
My clients describe me as:
Kind, insightful, affirming, humorous, neurodivergent-affirming (no masking required!), real, and authentic.
Something to know about my approach is:
I treat anxiety, trauma, grief and other things with some of the newest mind-body technologies such as EMDR and others techniques. These techniques retrain your brain to replace negative thoughts about yourself with more compassionate alternatives.
Together, we will:
Together we will explore the experiences that may be causing unhealthy thoughts about yourself and may be negatively affecting your relationship with yourself and others. We will then develop a practical plan to help you create the life you want.
I specialize in working with people who:
are members of the LGBTQA community, as well as those outside the community. I work with people experiencing grief including pet loss, trauma, dissociation and DID in particular, body image struggles, and narcissistic abuse recovery.
I became a therapist because:
I watched my father suffer from mental health issues as he struggled to come out. I wanted to create a safe space that people like my father needed.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer video sessions so you can avoid traffic and bad weather and meet with me in the comfort of your own home.
More about me and my practice:
Reaching out for help takes an incredible amount of courage. As a therapy client myself, I know how hard it is to connect with the right therapist. Feel free to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we feel like a good match.
