I am available via phone, secure video, and in-person as we follow COVID-19 safety procedures.
My clients describe me as:
authentic, realistic, and welcoming.
Something to know about my approach is:
it is rooted person-centered therapy, which aims to create a space that is safe, authentic, and completely non-judgmental. I love learning about your interests and try to bring those into therapy as much as possible.
Together, we will:
Explore how to process emotions, problem-solve, and develop new ways of thinking and coping with what you are going through. I love counseling because it requires us to join together and tap into our creativity to look at life in new ways.
I specialize in working with people who:
face self-imposed or external pressure to succeed academically or otherwise, attention difficulties, anxiety, depression, relationship and social problems, dating struggles, career path questions, and gender and sexuality exploration.
I became a therapist because:
after many years working at a summer camp, I gained a heart for young people and human growth and connection through shared experiences.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I see clients in-person (especially children ages 6-12 who aren't a good fit for virtual counseling) at our beautiful office in Bellaire.
More about me and my practice:
I keep it very honest and real and wholeheartedly attempt to create a safe environment where nothing is off the table to discuss.
