I am available weekdays from 8-5. I have one evening available every other week upon request for continuing clients. I also do teletherapy and videotherapy upon request.
Three words that describe my style are:
Calming, Intentional, Bold
Something unique about my approach is:
How conversation I am. Most people come to counseling a little nervous (let's be honest, counseling is a bit of a strange idea, right?). But people continually tell me they felt right at home after the first session.
Together we will explore:
Life is full of storms. The ebbs and flows they bring can leave anyone feeling shipwrecked. My role as a counselor is a grounding one: to equip and enable you to see light through the darkness. Together we pursue truth and beauty and lasting freedom.
I specialize in working with people who:
are generally in the middle of a crisis. This includes - high conflict marriage, kids who are having meltdowns, trauma, men and women with high levels of anger, and personality disorders.
I became a therapist because:
I believe that rock bottom does not have to be the end. I love seeing marriages and families restored and being a guide during the difficult times.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Montrose is in the heart of Houston. We have created an environment that feels comfortable and approachable.
When I’m not at work, I like to:
Spend time with my family, listen to a good audiobook, bike or run (depending on the Houston weather), or check out a new restaurant.
More about me:
I enjoy working with clients that are skeptical about counseling working well for them. If you have questions, feel free to reach out!
