I am available on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:30am-6pm. I make some exceptions and see clients up until 8pm on Tues/Thurs as needed.
Three words that describe my style are:
Accepting of your whole self; Motivating to work toward your best self; Connected (really seeking to know your story)
Something unique about my approach is:
I offer a diverse range of therapeutic approaches: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; CBT & Exposure and Response Prevention; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Treatments are science supported methods and individualized for you.
Together we will explore:
Our sessions focus less on the past and more on the here and now. We look at where you're at now, where you want to be, and explore what's holding you back from that next step. You'll feel emotions, take risks, and experience growth.
I specialize in working with people who:
identify as anxious (health anxiety, OCD, phobias, panic); have difficulty sleeping (insomnia), and/or new moms (postpartum anxiety/OCD).
I became a therapist because:
We all need someone who can "get" us, let us know we're not crazy, and give us a push toward that awesome life path we dream of going down.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Our office is gorgeous, in the heart of Montrose with free parking. I also offer teletherapy sessions from your home/office.
When I’m not at work, I like to:
Buy more plants than my garden can handle; bake; listen to podcasts; play with my kids;
More about me:
I bring a sense of humor and warmth to the therapy room as well as a gentle but active role in the session. I'm quick to respond to e-mails/calls!
