I see clients M-F from 1 pm to 8 pm. If needed I'm willing and able to schedule weekend sessions to accommodate atypical client schedules.
Three words that describe my style are:
My clients stay with me and refer me to others because they find me trustworthy, honest (without being judgmental), and knowledgeable.
Something unique about my approach is:
My approach is very pragmatic. I'm not a counselor who will tell you what you already know, and I won't just sit and listen. I understand the terrain of the mind and how to help it change. As your guide we will create a plan unique to your needs.
Together we will explore:
We will begin with what is known as an "experience near" definition of your problem. Then we'll try and understand why the problem is there and what steps we might take to get rid of the problem. Everyone is different so every treatment is unique.
I specialize in working with people who:
I specialize in helping stressed out professionals, angry men, and marriages on the brink of divorce. I am also uniquely equipped to help those who have experienced severe trauma in their lives or who are struggling with addiction.
I became a therapist because:
Being a therapist is the best job in the world. Everyone should want to become a therapist.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
For a downtown office it is surprisingly easy to park (on the street or in my building's garage) and gain access to the freeways.
When I’m not at work, I like to:
Read, write, and smoke bbq brisket. I'm a married father of two and a huge professional sports fan.
More about me:
I like to offer a free telephone consultation before meeting. If I don't think I can help I'll tell you where you are likely to find the right help.
