ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
My clients describe me as:
The 3 E's: Engaging, Energetic, & Empowering = Change.
"Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care."
Something to know about my approach is:
While I listen/reflect as any good therapist or coach would, I'm not passive. Clients tell me that I really challenge them to think critically about the choices they're making and whether those choices are really giving them the life they want.
Together, we will:
Explore your reasons, of course, for seeking therapy and your overall goals, but, more importantly, we would want to figure out in the first few sessions whether we're a great fit for each other.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are highly sensitive, high functioning, and really motivated and committed to evolving in how they communicate and collaborate in their personal and professional relationships.
I became a therapist because:
I've spent my life being an artful listener, because I truly care and am truly passionate about people's mental health and their overall well-being.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
To quote a counseling colleague: "Troy is judgment-free, kind, and cares deeply about each and every client. His office is a safe sanctuary."
More about me and my practice:
I've been told more than a few times that my "hilariousness" is infectious. If we can't enjoy a good laugh, our "serious-ism" about life will kill us!
