Marisa Cockrell, LPC-Intern. Supervised by Joy Sumrall, LPC-S.
I am available in Katy at Crossings Community Church on Mondays and I am available on Tuesdays in Tomball at Graceview Counseling Center.
Three words that describe my style are:
personal, safe, connected
Something unique about my approach is:
I believe that the connection between therapist and client is the number one agent of change and so I work hard to really know and understand my clients, which gives me an appreciation for them as people at the deepest level.
Together we will explore:
your pain and peace cycle. What themes does your pain have that are causing repeated problems in your life and where does this pain originate from? After exploring your pain, we will also explore what your truth is and how you find inner peace.
I specialize in working with people who:
are struggling in their marriages and who are just struggling in life. I love to help people work through hurdles that seem too large. I love to help people find hope when they can't seem to find any on their own.
I became a therapist because:
I love to offer hope to the hopeless
When I’m not at work, I like to:
spend time with my family, eat yummy food, and watch movies
