My clients describe me as:
caring and compassionate. I aim to create a safe, warm, empathetic, and caring atmosphere. I want you to feel comfortable and heard.
Something to know about my approach is:
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; this approach helps people see the connection between their beliefs, thoughts, & feelings and frees them from unhelpful patterns of behavior. CBT can help with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma/PTSD & more.
Together, we will:
help you restore hope beyond therapy, by providing you with the necessary tools to help you confront & overcome your specific challenges. If you allow me to be a part of your journey, I will be here to support & empower you to reach your goals.
I specialize in working with people who:
dealing with depression, anxiety, and trauma/PTSD. I am a Certified Trauma Therapist trained to treat individuals, Military, Veterans, & First Responders with PTSD/ trauma. I am also an Army Veteran, having served eight years with deployment.
I became a therapist because:
I witnessed a close relative struggle with mental health concerns and sought help when it was needed.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
my DIY gold, grey, and white pallet wall I created out of free pallets I found around Houston. What can I say, except I love a good DIY wood project!
More about me and my practice:
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with family, attending church services, helping others, watching movies, being outdoors in nature, hiking, biking, camping, skating, crafting/DIY wood projects, and traveling when possible.
