I am here to hear, support, and challenge you. I am very direct with what I hear but I also use a bit of humor.
Something to know about my approach is:
As a counselor I am very relatable which is key in making clients feel comfortable. Counseling doesn't have to be scary and I try to emphasize that the client will always be the boss on what we confront. So, just be honest and let's do this together.
Together, we will:
Explore your identity, your goals, your strengths, and your accomplishments. How you define yourself can be healing and enlightening. Often clients speak of their families, hardships, trauma, fears, and goals.
I specialize in working with people who:
Have had a tough life and have had to learn how to push through pain and suffering. At some point, trauma catches up and people begin to notice it in their relationships, their work, and in their bodies.
I became a therapist because:
I experienced the pain and suffering in death, the unspoken hardships and trauma of immigration, and the discrimination of the LGBTQ+ communities.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
We have a strong focus on social justice and advocate for marginalized communities. Session are currently held virtually to ensure your safety.
