My approach is honest, relational, and restorative. I help you slow down enough to actually hear yourself again, to make sense of what’s heavy, and to create space for peace to return. I believe therapy should feel like both a mirror and a map—reflecting what’s true and guiding you toward what’s possible.

Together we’ll unpack the patterns that have been running the show, heal what still feels tender, and build tools that make life feel lighter and more intentional. We’ll focus on connection, boundaries, and nervous system calm so you can move from surviving to truly living.

I work with people who are tired of feeling stuck in the same emotional loops. Many are high-functioning but drained, constantly managing stress, relationships, and expectations. I help them understand where the patterns come from, build healthier ways to cope, and get back to feeling like themselves again.

I became a therapist because I once had a terrible experience in therapy and knew people deserved better. I’ve always been the person others open up to without trying, and I found that my insight actually helped. It made sense to turn that into something more intentional—to offer the kind of space I wish I’d had.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate in Texas and the founder of Shifting with Shaobeny, a practice rooted in compassion, honesty, and restoration. My work blends trauma-informed and attachment-focused care to help clients rebuild trust within themselves and their relationships.
