My clients describe me as:

being a listener and not feeling rushed or pressured. This is a process where we come together for your growth, each bringing something to the table.

Something to know about my approach is:

focusing on the strengths and talents of each individual, bringing those in our time tigether. Knowing different approaches, such as strengths based, cognitive therapies, sandtray, or EFT, this time of healing can be tailored to the person.

Together, we will:

work on ways to thrive when emotions hit like a wave or when you feel out of control. We will work on a sense of failure, hopelessness, or anger that can be brought on by being gifted, having ADHD, or held hostage by the past.

I specialize in working with people who:

are neurodivergent such as giftedness and ADHD. I also work with those who feel stuck by their past and this leading to anxiety, depression, a sense of failure, disappointment, hopelessness, or anger.

I became a therapist because:

there are times people feel alone with their struggles, and they do not need to be alone. I want people to know they are more than a diagnosis.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I am flexible on whether it is in an office or virtual. There is plenty of parking available for those that seek out sessions at the office.

More about me and my practice:

I use to be a teacher and gifted specialist, and I am a dog lover who loves to learn, the movies, and musicals. Counseling is about meeting who you are where you are-not where I think you should be. Every person is an individual and treated as such.
