Three words that describe my style are:
client-directed, open-minded, and flexible. I believe that the people that I work with are the experts on their own lives and experiences.
Something unique about my approach is:
that it is radically transparent and open. I believe it is the responsibility of the therapist to conform to the needs and the context of the client. It is NOT the client's responsibility to conform to the therapist.
Together we will explore:
the issues that you feel are important to explore. Further, I believe the first real steps toward healing involve you reconnecting (or perhaps connecting for the first time) with your own strengths and gifts.
I specialize in working with people who:
are struggling to hear their own voice because it is being drowned out by a sea of other voices. Together we can sift through the messages of culture, society, family, and institutions to find the core of who you really are, and who you want to be.
I became a therapist because:
I believe it is never "too late." It is a privilege to be able to walk with people through their journey of healing and growth.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
the relaxed and informal atmosphere. There's no pretense.
When I’m not at work, I like to:
travel, read, dance, do yoga, seek, be with my friends and loved ones, eat, cook, celebrate life, make art, and visit amusement and theme parks.
More about me:
I am passionate about what I do. Every person I work with shapes the way I approach and do therapy.
