In addition to EMDR, I am constantly expanding my usage of evidence-based approaches such as Internal Family Systems and other modalities aimed at helping clients ages 11 and up heal from attachment and trauma wounding. At the Attachment and Trauma Center, I collaborate with a team of therapists who have experience with the most complex of cases.

I discovered the power of therapy during a life-changing experience in childhood. At age 9, I was battling a severe skin condition for which traditional treatments had little effect. Fortunately, my parents were referred to a therapist, who recognized that my thoughts and emotions were at the root of the issue – and then helped me heal from it.

My approach has also been shaped in no small part by the four-year struggle my wife and I endured to expand our family, when we suffered numerous fertility-related setbacks, including five lost pregnancies. But dealing with the grief, anguish, and despair taught me how to help others manage surface-level symptoms while also healing deep-seated pain.
